Why wouldn't they be rooting for Spain and Poland to lose so that the 3rd place team only has 2 points?Ukraine rooting for Spain (2+) win and Sweden non-loss, too.

Oh yeah. I mean I doubt Spain loses. More worried they play for zero GD to advance as 3rd team with best GD.Why wouldn't they be rooting for Spain and Poland to lose so that the 3rd place team only has 2 points?
True, but if you think about it, this only meant they were something like the 9th best team in Europe at the time. They would have comfortably qualified if any format used past 1996 had been used.I always remember that the craziest part of that was that Denmark failed to qualify for the Euro's that year but were given a lifeline when Yugoslavia fell apart.
Well, IIRC they were second in Yugoslavia's group, which is why they were picked to participate when Yugoslavia effectively ceased to exist. So...between the 9th and 16th best nation?True, but if you think about it, this only meant they were something like the 9th best team in Europe at the time. I was only quibbling with the comment you made about Denmark being specifically the 9th best qualifier in 1992.Sure, but let me put it another way. If a similar situation happened today and the replacement team went on to win the tournament, it would have been more impressive, because they weren't able to qualify on merit in a 24 team tournament.
I saw it in a bunch of games this past season, but it was the first year I recall seeing it.Has anyone seen this before?
To stop the low free kick that is designed to go under the wall as the wall jumps. What's the purpose of the laying down player?
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5O-uv7s9goDeBryune and Messi both had prominent FK they rolled under the leaping wall for goals last season (others I’m sure), this was the response and as others have pointed out it’s now a default setting.
