Why would you search when you (John Henry) are certain you can get the guy that's the best (or at least one of the best) because he's worked for you before successfully? I mean, if you owned a successful restaurant for a few years, run by a GM that was a guy who ran it well, and sold it and moved on to owning another restaurant and that guy that ran your last business successfully became available for you to hire again, wouldn't you jump at the chance? And why would you waste time interviewing anybody else? The process becomes that one guy, there's no need for a long, drawn out process. This isn't a government job he's hiring for.
