Seahawks have been too conservative. +2 on turnovers, and generally dominant, but one good drive and suddenly it's 7-7.

Fantastic drive, but how the fuck do you have Simon on Benjamin in that situation? I mean, I understand the Seahawks system doesn't call for playing matchups with their corners, but you can't be that rigid.

One of those turnovers wasn't really a turnover, though. It was a 44 yard net punt.

The cradle of the game.
Well that was an impressive catch.

I'm sorry, after the early game, Kearse could have caught that withnhis dick and it would seem anticlimactic.

Here
This isn't the same Seattle D as last year.

Not that they aren't still really good.

The league replay official, that generally in NY, was in Foxboro for that game and is there now for this game.

I like going for it but don't really like the formation Carolina had there. Shotgun spread? Eh. It's 4th and one.

Gotta keep Seattle from packing the box

Shotgun run on 4th and 1? I thought that was why Seattle called the timeout because they are afraid of it too.

They're going to do that anyway, which they did (8 in the box). Fourth and one isn't really about trickeration, it's about execution.

Might be a gift for Carolina on replay.

Obviously down by contact.

If there is any consistentcy, given the call in the Pats game, that's incomplete.

What was the call on the field in that game?

If they want to get it right they'll call it incomplete. If they want to play to the crowd they'll say there's nothing conclusive.

It's the playoffs, I hope they go with the former.

I think this one's a closer call. Thomas probably doesn't have any better control than Amendola did, but the ball doesn't visibly move when it impacts the ground. Won't be surprised by a reversal, but I also won't be surprised if the ref sees the replay and decides it's inconclusive.

Complete pass. Then overruled to incomplete. And it was a lot more gray than that replay.
