Griffey Jr, Ivan Rodriguez, A-Rod, Adrian Beltre, Mike Trout -- and going back a few years, a kid named Theodore Williams -- all up to MLB at 19-20. Sure, probably more negative comps. I prefer to dream on this kid's potential to be an all-time great, while hoping that he's just focused on being the best he can be each at-bat, each inning, each game. If he's just league average this year, that's a double positive for this team -- both superior to what's come before, and at no cost to the team in terms of prospects being traded for sub-optimal solutions.
