Regular season says otherwise, but I feel like the Western Conference final is going to decide the championship. It just feels like either the Stars confirm they are the best all around team in the playoffs, playing without significant flaw. Or the Oilers prove that their huge talent gap overcomes their goalkeeping deficiencies. I'll probably go 0-3, but I've got:

Oilers in 6
Rangers in 7
Oilers win the cup in 6.

I think it's finally time that a Canadian team gets the job done. I know that goalkeeping is an issue and that team seems like a fraud at times but I think it's just their turn.

Not what I want to happen, though. Hard to root against Sutter and Little Joe.

I’ve always had a healthy dislike of the Rags and their current roster isn’t exactly likable. But I now have a seething hate for the Panthers that used to be reserved just for the Habs. However the Panthers widespread embellishment, their dirty play, their pompous coach, not to mention the league’s apparent thumb on the scale for the franchise, all align to make them the perfect villain. Yes they are talented and balanced, but not nearly enough to overcome their fucking assholiness. So for me in the East, it’s go Rangers.

Looks to me like the Rangers are suffering from the same issue the Bruins had with getting forechecked into next week.

Fucking hate the Panthers. Not just because of 2023 and 2024 but also because they got some ridiculous breaks to squeak past the Caps in 2022 only to get swept in the second round. Total frauds.

I don’t watch a lot of non-Bruins hockey anymore, but every time the Oilers are quickly becoming appointment viewing. Every game I watch is completely bonkers.

Not being able to see anything along the close boards is pretty stupid.

Skinner looks like a deer in headlights.

I found Lundqvist's comments very informative about what could have been happening during that shot attempt.

Really good analysis.

Couldn't tell what was happening on the boards, but I thought to myself "boy mcdavids all alone in front, that can't be good".

Here
Lombard took out Jimmy Vesey away from the puck, which is apparently totally fine.
