That's a great deal for Cleveland. I know I shouldn't even be thinking about a reunion with Napoli but I can't help it, I have beardstalgia.

Damn! Now the Tribe's not gonna be as easy to beat in the post season as they were last year...um...oh wait, nevermind. Great signing for them. If we don't win it all, I'll be rooting for the EEE (look it up)-infused Fighting Franconas to be sippin' the last taste of 'tober champagne.

Awesome signing for the Indians. They were fun to watch last year, and as much as I like Napoli, I think this makes them even more fun.

I have no love for any move that makes AL competitors better. This clearly makes the Indians better. So while I agree that it was a smart signing by the Indians, it makes me throw up in my mouth.

At least the EE to the Sox pipe dream talk can now be put to bed. That's cold comfort, however.

Reported by Passan that the A's offered more. I wonder if players are tired of signing there only to be used as trade bait

Indians will get back fully Salazar, Carracco and Brantley, and now have Encarnacion. Going to be tough for other AL Central teams to compete for that division banner
