I wonder what the commentators would have said had Iguodala's leg been planted and his ACL snapped on Delly's dive directly to the outside of his knee when there wasn't even a loose ball. I defended his plays last year as they were loose balls which makes it fair game to angle the player to recover it......today's there was no such defense. That was flat out filthy dirty and someone should have taken him out for that. Kinda soft of the Warriors for nobody not to imho.

And as a side note, I respect what Matthew Dellavedova has done to reach and earn minutes in the NBA but I cannot stomach how much the announcers fawn over a player who is just another bench guy who has busted his ass to earn a spot in the NBA. Why does Iman Shumpert or Tristan Thompson not get the same kind of praise?
Thompson was drafted 4th overall; Shumpert went 17th. Shumpert basically met expectations, and Thompson rates as a disappointment. Dellavedova was undrafted. He's probably not the only undrafted guy from overseas who put together a respectable NBA career, but I can't name another one offhand, at least since teams have widely scouted players abroad.

I agree that race is part of the reason there's so much interest in Dellavedova, but in this case, the white guy actually is an underdog who overcame long odds to get where he is, much more so than the great majority of his peers.

Thompson rates as a disappointment??? He's a crucial big on a championship caliber team who was just rewarded for his play with a 5-year, $82m contract a couple months ago. His numbers aren't what they would be elsewhere due to the ball being dominated by LeBron, Kyrie and Love but he's a legit get with the 4th pick.

Dellavedova wasn't really an undrafted guy from overseas as he played 4 years of college ball at St. Mary's. There have been many like Delly who DID play at American colleges but even others who DIDN'T play America college ball like Prigioni and Mozgov who we saw on Christmas Day...... Jose Calderon, Carlos Arroyo, Alexey Shved, and our own Stojko Vrankovic are a few other foreign players who come to mind that weren't drafted and never played at an American college.

How is that scored? Is it a missed FG and made FG for the last Clipper who took the shot?
Missed FG for the Clipper who initially took the shot and a Made FG for the Clipper nearest to Nance which in this case was DeAndre.......who quickly raised his hand high in the air in case the official scorer had any doubt lol.

Dellavedova is a good story, but much like Wade, it'd be nice if they focused more on the incredibly dirty side of their play as well as the good side. They just ignored the Iguodala play today as was mentioned above, it's just luck he hasn't hurt someone really badly on one of those floor scrambles yet.

Almost another epic Clippers collapse tonight. Fun to see Doc have to bring the starters back in anyway.

I've yet to see Julius Randle at any point and wish the C's had taken him over Smart. He's aggressive and pretty quick and can handle the ball and do some interesting things but he has one move in the halfcourt: bull rush spin to the left hand. He ends up having to take tough shots under the rim fading away now that he isn't the biggest and strongest guy on the floor anymore. Needs to stretch his range just so he'll have more options working out of the high post.

The Cluppers bench is Sixers-level bad. They really miss Jamal Crawford and Paul Pierce pre-corpse as well as Big Baby pre-meal. Awful all season long.
