Well then here's a little something to spice up the morning. Merry Christmas from Rasheed and Amir back in the day and yes I feel bad that Amir doesn't know the lyrics.

First and foremost, Merry Christmas to you.

Kind but bland relatives is not the worse of all possible Christmas gathering scenarios. But if they get liquored up, who knows what interesting things might happen.

As for the games on for today, as a minimum I expect to have one Christmas wish to be answered as the Clips will humiliate the Laker scum on TV and in the Laker home. Who says there is no Santa Claus?

Watching Rose attempt to guard Westbrook reminds me of watching Pippen attempt to guard Kobe during the 2001 WCF. Amazing that Rose and Westbrook are the same age. And sad to contemplate what Rose might have been without the injuries.

Don't like the way LeBron is playing in the first quarter. Seems like his whole offensive plan is to back down someone from the elbow or the wing for ten seconds and then put up a tough shot. I would like to see some more urgency.

Also, wtf was going on with that ad were DeAndre Jordan was in drag and Damian Lillards head was Photoshopped onto a baby?

LeBron doing some quality bitching over a shot that was clearly late.

They are around for the holiday and went to check on their son who they follow pretty closely. I know you hate Golden State and Curry however this is just petty.

Petty? Dude is a professional athlete that just went into the locker room to get treatment, nobody died.

And hate isn't a strong enough word for how I feel about gsw and curry.

So the Currys (Curries?) would rather hang with their son on Christmas Day, rather than watch his teammates play. What awful people.
Nobody said they were awful. But that is a great example of over bearing parenting. Do they go to the gym with him, too, to watch him work out?

It's Christmas Day. Would it be so wrong if they wanted to hang out if he was just going to be sitting around with his foot in a bucket of ice?

WARRIORS GUARD STEPHEN CURRY IS A RED SOX FAN, LOVES TEAM’S OFFSEASON ‘SPLASHES’
http://fullcount.weei.com/sports/boston/baseball/red-sox/2015/12/12/warriors-guard-stephen-curry-is-a-red-sox-fan-loves-teams-offseason-splashes/

If you’re wondering how Curry became a Red Sox fan, it dates to his childhood in Charlotte, as he explained in a 2011 interview at Fenway Park, where he was having his bachelor party.

“Growing up, the closest team geographically was the Braves,” he said. “But my brother (Seth) chose the Yankeeswhen we were six or seven. I had to choose the opposite team. I chose the Red Sox and I’ve stuck with them ever since. It’s a pretty cool thing between me and my brother.”

Curry, who grew up with former Red Sox reliever Daniel Bard (Curry was a freshman at Charlotte Christian when Bard was a senior), remains a Red Sox fan. During that 2011 visit to Fenway, he got autographs from David Ortiz, posed for pictures with Mike Cameron, and spent some time talking with Kevin Youkilis, taking in the sights at batting practice from the field.

“I was just thinking about that today,” said Curry, whose college roommate was a Sox fan from Falmouth, Maine. “We haven’t been back to a game since. I’d love to get back there

Lebron misses two at the line (after a ridiculous travel, yes) and Curry hits a layup and it's a huge swing. But Cleveland not giving up. They can't stop Curry.

Fun game to watch.

Golden state is not going to be out-physicaled at the end of this game. They're playing tough

CLE should never play Love at the 5 down the stretch of a big game, how many open layups did they give up while doing that? They can definitely match up with GS going small, but Thompson or even LeBron needs to be the 5 then, not Love.

Cleveland needs to find another playmaker even when Irving is able to play at full strength. Love, despite his still gaudy stats, just doesn't seem like that guy. Boy did Golden State make a great choice in not dealing Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes for Love. They are both flawed players but they are both above average NBA guys who fit perfectly alongside Curry and Green.

And as a side note, I respect what Matthew Dellavedova has done to reach and earn minutes in the NBA but I cannot stomach how much the announcers fawn over a player who is just another bench guy who has busted his ass to earn a spot in the NBA. Why does Iman Shumpert or Tristan Thompson not get the same kind of praise?
