19 conference championship games really is remarkable.
They've had very few periods where they've been bad post-merger. A few years in the mid-70's pre-Walsh, the period between Mariucci and Harbaugh and then between Harbaugh and Shanahan. The '00s were the only decade where they didn't make at least 1 appearance in the NFC Championship.

At this point I do t think Campbell wants to change his team’s approach. The confidence on 4th down is a signature for this team.
BB would have obviously been conservative with 3 scores but how can you fault the guy for staying true to the character that is defining this team.

I don’t get it? You kick the FG because a guy could make a ridonkulous catch that should have been a pick?
No, you kick the field goal because you never know what's going to happen ... even a ridiculous play

It's simple, you kick the FG because you didn't convert. If you convert then they go for it because you put the game away

Having never played I don’t know the value of that stuff. But being 6 quarters from a championship with a very good kicker all that stuff goes out the window. (My opinion.) Three scores is three scores.

Threw a pick ball that bounced right to the WR, no idea what connection there is

If that’s picked, as it should have been, do you still think they should’ve kicked? Presumably yes
Doesn't matter how they got there. The game is playing out as it's playing out.

I'm just a big 'take the points' advocate. 2015 the Pats went for it like...3 times or something and lost by 2. I still have nightmares from that.

Eh. It’s the Lions, they’ve been going for it on 4th more than anyone in the league for 3 years. It serves them well.
Also.... they have a really good offense and their defense is bad against the pass. Hoping to cling to a lead isn't going to win them this game
