SMU got a quick bucket, then a foul & time-out, and Houston missed the front end FT. The Mustangs needed a three to tie, but turned it over in the key and had to foul again with 14.6 left. This time the Cougars hit both FTs, and they're back up 5. 
 
EDIT - And that'll do it. Three straight losses by the Mustangs is going to kill their seeding. Meanwhile the Cougars have won 5 of their last 6.

Yep, Lunardi had SMU as the lowest ranked 9 seed going into today. This probably knocks them down to a 10/11 seed.
