Who was the best Michigan QB ever?

It’s obviously Brady if any weight is given to post-college accomplishments, but on a college-only basis, have they had anyone better than Harbaugh? Probably still better than McCarthy, but “best Michigan QB” isn’t as high a bar as you’d think for such a storied program.
Grbac
Griese
Henne
Leach
(And Harbaugh)

QB is clearly short of the first down there, looked like they were giving it to him on the field

This side judge is going to give Bama a 1st down on this series if its the last thing he does.

2 brutal spots by him

Blocking doesn’t get better than that. RB just had to make the safety miss.

For a team that has played in 3 straight CFP Michigan looks like dog shit. I think they’re going to get boat raced

Of course they’re going to get killed if they don’t take care of the ball, but until that one big play this was looking like a defensive slugfest, which should be good for Michigan.

Bama didn’t have too much trouble that drive. Michigan played one good series on D

It's super early but they don't look like they belong here at all.
Can’t draw firm conclusions from bowl season when so many of the best players don’t play, but the PSU and tOSU losses might suggest the B1G was a little overrated this season.

Good answer

this should be a good game

Alabama doesn’t really have a stout defense this year

After the first TD, I decided Alabama was going to win and that the B1G is not very good. After the second TD I decided that the B1G might be ok and that Michigan is good and will win.

Now, with a minute of reflection, I have decided I’m not sure what is going to happen.

I think anyone could win. How exciting.

I think I reserve my right to change my mind. Let’s see what happens now.

I’ll tell you another thing — the occasional football makes these commercials a little easier to watch.

That should have been a penalty, but the Alabama QB had just shown they weren't all that interested in the first down anyway.
