I don't know if that's true. What if USC loses? You gonna put a 2 loss team in there over a 1 loss team to the #2 or #3 team?
if the game is close, the loser is definitely alive, imo. TCU and USC are both capable of losing.
The crowd is rocking.
If you ever have a chance to see a game at the shoe, it's totally worth it.
I live in WA now and friends that graduated from UW wanted to take me to a game this year. After living in Columbus for 12 years and being at OSU for 6, it felt like a JV game.

The reason you punt from your opponents 43 when your defense is getting gashed is that it gives your opponent more chances to gash.
4th and 5 from the Michigan 43. It was 1st and 35 after a couple of penalties.
The key part of the punt is that it took Michigan 3 plays to get back to where the punt happened.(technically it happened at the 48 because of a false start on the first punt)
So it took 4 plays to get past the 48.
And that is why you scardey cat punt at home in the biggest game of the year with a QB who is a Heismann favorite.
Needless to say, if you do a search for "Ryan Day" on twitter, it's kind of funny. There are some takes, most of them involve knives or guns.
Harbaugh was on the refs like a duck on a snail on the down and playclock screwup. Even got his timeout back.
I’m not sure I’d give him the timeout back. The guy is tackled a yard past the line, the Referee does the 1st down point, and the chains are moving. Who cares that the box man is a little slow. What down do you think it is coach? And if you aren’t sure, you can just ask the official next to you.
