Syracuse Is a 10 point dog? Wow. I expected Minnesota to be favored but more in the 5-6 range. They aren't all that either
I don’t really follow Minnesota at all but a lot of Cuse’s best players, including Tucker, have bailed on the game which surely has impacted the line.

who cares, though, really. These baby bowls have become so irrelevant, they are glorified exhibition games at this point.

LOL. fair.

I'm a Syracuse alum and actually going to that game, so hoping Syracuse is fairly competitive.

My take? Defections shouldnt move the line much. Syracuse's success is based strictly on the system they roll out on offense (good playcalling they can score on MN, conservative calls, they wont) and ability to slow down the MN run - and they lost way more on D in the secondary.

But agree, it's just a 2nd tier bowl game.

So fucking gross. I hate how often this shit happens.
Really bad decision to run that reverse, which put the ball in the hands of a WR looking to make a big play, who predictably didn’t protect the ball the way he should have in that situation. Just run the damn ball up the middle twice, with your most sure-handed back keeping two hands on the ball.

3 runs in a row. Really odd choice.

Edit: Worked out.

Wow, Arkansas is finding new ways not to win.

Clear-cut targeting, on a hit that probably wasn’t even necessary.

Did the refs actually mess up who went first for two in the 3rd OT? I think it should have been Kansas as the Jayhawks had the ball first in the 1st OT.

Edit: Or does Arkansas get the choice for the 3rd OT because they won the coin toss before the first OT?

Yeah options are given again before every extra period. So Arkansas option.

Yeah, never knew that about OT periods until tonight. For the 1 play OT periods, can see where it makes more sense to go first.

Technically after one team chooses whether they want offense/defense, the other team gets the option for end of field. In practice the officials heavily encourage teams to stay on the same end since it’s a pain in the ass to switch sides and the TV people hate the dead time.

Wonder if there has been a game where Team A lost the OT toss, had the ball first; then the game went to a second OT and, having the choice this time, chose to go first again?

Officials misenforced that foul against UNC, that’s not a 5 yard illegal sub it’s an automatic unsportsmanlike

A win is good but who do you blow those leads? 25 on the 2nd half? What happened to the RazorFalcon secondary?

Not sure why the announcers feel so strongly about the non targeting call in this Maryland game. The WR - in the act of running after the catch - lowered his helmet as much as the defender did?

Terrible first quarter for ND coaching. Didn't call a timeout when South Carolina came out with a Chip Kelly formation on 4th down and they scored an easy TD. Buchner hasn't played since he looked terrible throwing the ball vs Marshall. They had him attempt 10 passes in the first quarter.

Wow, I thought that was a really BS personal foul on South Carolina. The ND player was clearly committing a delay of game.
