I'd probably trade him for Okafor too. Bradley is injured a lot, and his contract is coming up. He'll want 17 million a year or more. No thanks.
Wow, this is insane. Okafor is not an NBA player. Bradley is a really good NBA player.

Plus Bradley's contract isn't up until after next year. A year and a half of Bradley on an incredibly reasonable contract is really valuable (to a team that's competing, I don't really get it for the Pacers/Bulls/etc if they're going rebuild).

Why is that insane? How many games as AB missed this year and look at the C's record. I'm more inclined to think the C's would have been better with Okafor over Bradley in those games. The C's big men are super garbage, and Okafor is at least still coachable, and may respond to a winning environment instead of Philly loserville.

So, it's okay not to overpay for PG13 and/or Butler and keep the picks, Jaylen, Smart, Bradley, and the two big men stashed in Europe, right? (In other words, I don't get why Ainge has to sell out this year to go 6 games vs Cavs and maybe 5 vs GS.)

It is insane because Okafor is the worst regular NBA player in the league (or second worst, I guess, but we're splitting hairs at that point).

Edit- Actually considering your comment about Philly loserville I'm honestly not sure if you've been watching or paying attention to the NBA this year and are just coming in here to recycle old hot takes.

They can also just sign Gordon in FA and keep everything. You also don't necessarily need Crowder if you have him + everything else, so you can trade him for a big in the off season.
You say this like it will be easy, or a given he will come to Boston, which is definitely not so. If that were the case today would be stress free.

Oh wait, you also said you would trade Bradley for Okafor.

Are you drunk? Just trolling?

Philly apparently wanted Avery Bradley. No dice.
Yeah, hard to see a deal with Philly that includes AB that makes sense for the C's without Embiid, Simmons, or Philly's 1st rounder coming this way -- which of course is not going to happen.

On the plus side, Philly probably wasn't asking about AB for themselves -- he'll be expensive or gone before the Sixers are respectable. They likely see AB as an asset they could flip for a lottery pick or a solid young player. That's obviously good for us.

These kinds of things can change, but that is the strong Paul George message being sent around the NBA regarding how he sees his situation.
It would behoove Paul George to stay in Indiana so that he can keep the option open to sign a massive extension with the DPE. Same reason Demarcus wanted to stay in Sacramento. It's all posturing.

Umm because one is an excellent NBA player and the other is pure garbage. Even if the decision is to trade Bradley you don't dump him for garbage, you package him for a star or you move him for someone who is actually a basketball player.

I want to know about the "monster" DEN proposal for PG.
Considering it was rumored to include neither Jokic nor Murray it was a "monster deal" in quantity not quality. It screams leak to tell fans we tried real hard to do something, but really was never something the other team even would consider.

Seems like to me teams are asking for a lot more from the celtics and then trading guys for nothing to other teams which really sucks

Exactly, which as a Nugget fan, I'm fine with. I wouldn't trade Jokic or Murray for George as he doesn't put them into serious contention and Jokic and Murray are the future. I would trade any other combination, though, but I don't think there's enough there to entice Indy.

I think if you're Denver and you push the chips in on Paul George you have to be concerned about him leaving as a FA. Boston not so much.

The idea was if was for them--that he would guard the opposition's PG but Simmons would play PG on offense.

Given that the C's bigs are garbage, their swingmen can't shoot, and their PG is hero ball ISO specialist, I'm surprised they've managed to play .350 ball, nevermind the .650 they have actually played. Stevens must be one hell of a coach.

At least three teams have said no to giving up a first-round pick for PJ Tucker - New Orleans, Cleveland and Boston.

Maybe Bird's holding out for Stevens in a PG trade
