Brown, 28, has skated in 46 games with Ottawa this season, tallying six assists while averaging 13:59 time on ice per game. The 6-foot-5, 217-pound right-shot defenseman has appeared in 165 NHL games with Ottawa and Florida, totaling four goals and 13 assists for 17 points. The London, Ontario native was originally selected by Florida in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

There's the right handed depth D.

Lindholm - McAvoy
Grzelyck - Carlo
Forbort - Clifton
Reilly - Brown
Ahcan

That's the 9 D for the playoffs. If they get any lower than that they're probably screwed anyways.

Much rather have the depth D. Good move on cutting the losses with Sweeney’s worst draft pick ever.

According to Cap Friendly, if Senyshyn plays 5 games with Ottawa before the end of the season, the Bruins will receive Ottawa's 2022 6th round pick.

I hope Josh Brown doesn't end up having to play important games for you because he's pretty bad.

They play 15 games in 30 days in the month of April, so I imagine he might get into some games to help keep guys fresh for the playoffs. But you're right, I don't want to see him in the playoffs -- that would be a very bad sign.
