They lost a 30 goal guy because of cap issues and traded away a scorer the offseason before that. One can hardly be surprised they can't score worth a damn now.Dan to Theo to Ben said:

Besides needing a sniper, Griffith and Fraser are one dimensional scorers that don't score enough while Kelly, Campbell and Paille are nice 3/4th liners who as a group aren't gritty enough. They also have little upside and are getting older.
Cunningham at least provides more of an all around game. The bigger problem with the later 3 is that they combine for 7 million a year where Cunningham, Florek and Robbins would save 4 million a year.
