I was wondering if Guzan would end up in MLS after this but I don't even know who would take him.

The Norwich v Newcastle game was a nerve shredder. Fair play to the Canaries, giving up a penalty in the last couple of minutes of regulation time and then going for the winner in injury time. Sunderland draw with West Brom, what a result for Norwich. Sometimes these six pointers are gritty, tense and low on quality but Norwich played some good stuff. Some good movement going forwards.

Jeezo, Sturridge with a great chance to put Liverpool up and he shoots right at the keeper. Sakho having a bit of a mare, unless he thinks passing the ball to a Spurs player ain't no thing.

Any predictions on where Barca-Real ends up today?

I'm feeling 3-1 Barca, but could be persuaded to just about anything, given how hot-and-cold both Benzema and Marcelo have been of late.

Madrid got absolutely robbed. A great Bale goal disallowed on a phantom push-off on Alba. Moments later, Ronaldo hits the crossbar, Ramos gets sent off, and they'll probably have to play for the draw now.

edit: As I type that, Ronaldo scores a man down off a looped cross from Bale

I think El Clasico needs two refs, like hockey.

It never disappoints, though. Just when you think it's going to be a little routine, it goes to up a notch.

Pretty entertaining game just ended at the San Siro. Torino with an unexpected win, and gets a boost a little bit above the incredible congestion in Serie A around the last relegation spot. Torino staying up is probably a good thing for Serie A, especially if you're a fan of the Derby della Mole, so it was a significant win. Milan went ahead but one moment of magic put Torino level, and then Milan took a bad foul for a second yellow. They actually looked the more dangerous side at times even down to ten men, but an alleged, and potentially unfair, trip in the box gave Torino a penalty (which they scored) and put Milan on 9 men for the rest of the game. Even so, they stayed dangerous, but couldn't equalize.

The relegation fight in Serie A is starting to sort out a bit, but it could get pretty interesting in the last few weeks of the season.

Didn't Alba go underneath Bale? Looked to me like a pretty clear undercut..similar to taking out someone's legs after they'd gone up for a rebound in basketball. When Bale jumped Alba was nowhere close to him.
Edit: to be clear I'm agreeing with you..just wondering what kind of justification there'd ever be for that call.

Seemed like the assistant called it but not sure. From the side it was probably difficult to see who moved laterally into the other. So he could have been misled by his perspective.

You see that called sometimes where the player extends his arms to clear space or uses a hand on the defender's shoulder to gain height. I didn't see either there. Not sure what the assistant thought he saw but I thought it was either a bad call or the replay angle missed something.
