Sutcliffe already going overboard.

And the Cards are challenging?

These are 2 of the best teams in the NL and one has Jedd Gyorko playing SS and the other has Francisco Cervelli hitting 5th.

I'm not sure the Pirates really qualify for that category anymore. Their lineup is really thin now. Freese is batting 3rd too!

I'd put the Dodgers, Cubs, Mets, Cardinals, Giants, and Nationals ahead of the Pirates in the NL, off the top of my head.

Wow, just end an article on ESPN.com that a plane once owned by former Yankees catcher Matt Nokes crashed on a SoCal freeway and killed an occupant of the car. Crazy story. And Nokes had landed that same plane on the same freeway before.

Why do you "hate" the Cards? I admire the heck out of the way they win so consistently without having to spend a boatload of money on marquee players.
I don't have a rational reason, I just can't stand them. And I know a few Cards fans who give MFY fans a run for their money in the insufferable category. Just a team I love to hate.

Tulo does his annoying Jeter-type visit to the mound, pitcher promptly gives up double.

I feel the same way, I think it's because of McGuire and Tony La Russa, probably stems from when Oakland and Dave Stewart would kick our ass in the late 90's.

Why not have every team play today when people are home and can watch? Also, both Toronto and Tampa should be hosting the first series of the year over Cleveland.

That could be where it's heading, but I doubt I'm the only one watching two or three games today that I wouldn't be watching if the Red Sox and Cubs were playing (real games). If you're MLB, why not keep it spread it out like this to juice viewership.

Beyond that, I like the weekday home opener. Using a vacation day and heading over by the ballpark at 9:00am when everyone else is on their way to work is an experience. This is the second year in a row the Cubs home opener is a night game and it kinda sucks.

Let's see ... what would be the 15 most weather-friendly places for the MLB season to begin

Toronto
Tampa Bay
Texas
Houston

Arizona
Los Angeles
Anaheim
San Diego
Oakland
San Francisco
Seattle
Miami
Kansas City
Milwaukee

That's 8 AL and 6 NL ... with Cincinnati, Pittsburgh or Wrigley being the 15th?

Atlanta and then Washington or St Louis? Target would probably be dead last with Wrigley runner-up.

Stroman good.

Edit: Literally gives up a bomb the second I hit post.

Edit 2: 30 seconds later he's out of the game. I vow to use this power only for good.

That Duda at bat was spectacular... ball (called strike), foul, strike (called ball), strike (called ball), ball (called strike)

In a couple innings we'll have to see where the strike zone images are; it's actually somewhat consistent, it's just been like 2 inches high on both the top and bottom

The smallball blowjobs getting handed out to the royals are becoming incredibly tiresome.
