When I watched LeBron and Durant draft, I noticed that Durant drafted all of his Olympic teammates, which i thought was pretty cool. The TNT team was so focused on the fact that Durant kept passing on Harden that I don't think they picked up on the Olympic team thing. Has the media talked about that at all?
Too bad there's not five of them playing because of the Durant and Green injuries. It'd be cool to see the gold medal Olympic team play together in the all star game.

I’ve got my Jalen Green win ticket in my back pocket but I would gladly rip it up if somehow I could have the last 15 minutes of my life back. Pain.
How the heck did Jalen Green get a 38 in the first round, he missed like a dozen dunks.

Meh. Call me crazy but I always like the intros. Always the best music. Players seem to have fun with it.

Lebron is finishing his career in Cleveland. They will draft Bronny and he will go out a legend there.

Ah. I didn’t mean him. I meant the guy on the stage in the bad sweater who said he sucked at basketball.
The all star game (the early part at least) isn't for players like him. He's athletic, but not enough to pull off some crazy dunks. He's a good 3 point shooter, but not enough to be respectable from 30+ feet. He's big, but not big enough for it to be novel when he takes the ball up and runs the play. He's comfortable playing a supporting role in this kind of environment, but he has no use at the beginning of this thing.
So very true. They need to raise the stakes or do something totally new and different.
I thought the same thing at the introduction, but that led to me thinking how sweet it would be if the Celtics finally beat LeBron in a Cavs uniform to advance to the finals.
Besides Morant, this might be the least athletic group of all stars in decades.

No reason except for the fact that the teams that win quarters win charity donations. The cumulative score is in the upper right.
After 3 quarters, 24 points are added to the team that is leading and they play to that. No clock in the 4th quarter.

The skills contest really sucked. I get they were trying to be novel with the team Giannis thing, but it just seemed sort of dumb. I think it’d be better if there were some actual skills tested or displayed.
The 3 pt shooting contest was entertaining.
I haven’t watched the dunk contest for in years, but has it been this boring before? My goodness that was terrible. Also, what is up with a minimum score of 6? So, if I go up there and miss a layup I still get a 30? That wasn’t that much less than some other dunks. They need to let the judges give 0.5 scores.
