Facing the Red SoxWhat is this called for the opposing pitcher?
He should be good for 3 innings, I would thinkMiller in now?
Wow.
Isn't it likely that he's had some ouchie and that's why he didn't start game one?So this is the outing Tito planned everything around. At least Kluber was able to keep his regular routine.
Absolutely not. This is what Kluber wanted and they were very clear about that.Isn't it likely that he's had some ouchie and that's why he didn't start game one?
F that, I remember Derek Lowe.Do you remember Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, Jim Palmer, Vida Blue, etc. in the LCS or WS? Those were real pitchers; fuck up all these BS MILENNIALS
People love to say that good pitching in the playoffs beats good hitting. But good hitting teams are going to be the teams that hit around the good pitchers too.Kluber arguably laid more of an egg in the entire series' worth of work than Sale.
His nutritionistWho would have thought that C.C would be getting a 1 year 20 million deal from the Yankees this offseason
There you go. Smoltz is right--they would be well advised to score some runs this inningLindor's been their guy ... he has to get something started
Good workLindor's been their guy ... he has to get something started
I have no opinion on this either way, but NY currently has easily the most healthy talent they've had all year, Sanchez and Didi each missed a month early, they got Robertson/Kahnle/Gray/Frazier at the deadline, and Hicks and Castro missed a lot of time later, plus Bird pretty much the first five months of the season. But you get a feeling about this stuff sometimes, and this looks like a team ready to take some of the epic pythag bad luck they had in the regular year and turn it around.
You couldn't start to understand. Four dimensional cribbageKipnis had a terrible season. Why does the genius Tito bat him 2nd?
Don't be so fucking coy. Of course you have an opinion on it, which is why you're explaining it.I have no opinion on this either way, but NY currently has easily the most healthy talent they've had all year, Sanchez and Didi each missed a month early, they got Robertson/Kahnle/Gray/Frazier at the deadline, and Hicks and Castro missed a lot of time later, plus Bird pretty much the first five months of the season.
Bring cookies; he'll like you, tooI can't help myself--I like CC
Betances has as much of a chance of playing shortstop as he does pitching as insurance tonight.Must chip away at least 1 now.
They can go Robertson for 2, Chapman for 2, Betances for insurance
I'm just saying that I think the current level of talent for any team is more important than a season-long Pythagorean, partly compiled with guys like Pineda and Holliday and Chris Carter who are all essentially history (sorry, Matt).Don't be so fucking coy. Of course you have an opinion on it, which is why you're explaining it.
A Lebron defensive play basically saved their city's athletic worthCleveland fans must be coming to grips their team is not going to win a World Series anytime soon.
It's not the size, it's how you use itHe is definitely using it to his advantage. I wonder about the length of his bat as well. You know what they say, every inch counts!
