I keep Miller and Shaw and Kluber back for Game 5, and then you still have Kluber on full rest for 5 and Game 1 WS. (Unless he goes in relief in a game 7)

So you basically concede game 4? Yeah that's crazy.

Tito knows more than most that if you have someone down you do not give them a sniff of hope.

Up 3-0 you have that luxury. Plus if the rookie is on your roster, then you have faith in him, and you're not conceding. He's you best fresh arm.

My theory is you give them less hope if you have all your weapons at full strength for 5 and later.
