Really just not a fan of Nazzan's stance. Probably a me thing.

Jhostynxon struck out buuuuuuuut...Mejicano & Simon did nothing, so he decided to steal 3rd.

That's one way to try to get a promotion...Jhostynxon struck out buuuuuuuut...
Wild pitch & Asigen scored to win the game 2-1.
Greenville wins 5-2Felix Cepeda just allowed a homer to lead off the bottom of the 9th...his 1st run allowed since being promoted to Greenville after 15 scoreless innings.

Even more so with your highly detailed and spiritedFun day in the system today all the way around.
Yeah, I think Benny was a year younger. Teel turns 22 in February. Maybe they won't bother with Scott on the 40-man if Teel really is on such a rapid timetable.Teel is roughly on the Benintendi path although actually a level up. Beni’s draft year bump was also to Greenville but when it was not the high-A team (I believe Beni was a younger drafted though). Then year 2 it was Salem>Portland>late season cup in Boston. Never saw Pawtucket.
If Teel is anything close to current performance to start next season he will be in Portland by summer and knocking on the door. Advanced college bats who immediately perform don’t hang around long.
Thx! It's a lot more fun on days like today.Even more so with your highly detailed and spirited
roundup. Thanks again.
As an aside does Yordanny give you vibes akin to any current or former ML pitchers?
He exudes energy in a way that in terms of Red Sox starting pitchers really only reminds me of Pedro... but that's obviously not a comp for lots of reasons.Thx! It's a lot more fun on days like today.
I feel like he probably should... but I can't really think of anyone.
Benintendi turned 21 in July of his draft year, Teel turned 21 in February of his; big enough difference that it is listed as Beni's age 20 season and Teel's age 21 season but really only 5 months. Catcher is a different animal though, I don't think that accelerated of a path is realistic. I expect Teel to get an early promotion and spend the bulk of next year in Portland, maybe finish in Worcester; then starting catcher in Worcester in '25 before either a late callup or breaking camp in '26.Yeah, I think Benny was a year younger. He reminds me of Papelbon from an energy standpoint but closers are a different breed. He exudes energy in a way that in terms of Red Sox starting pitchers really only reminds me of Pedro... but that's obviously not a comp for lots of reasons.
Papelbon was the other name I almost said.He reminds me of Papelbon from an energy standpoint but closers are a different breed.
I was going to count the months, but I got lazy.Benintendi turned 21 in July of his draft year, Teel turned 21 in February of his; big enough difference that it is listed as Beni's age 20 season and Teel's age 21 season but really only 5 months. Scott is going to be an interesting case, the bat is there but I can't see them carrying him on the 40 unless they think he can fill in adequately as the third catcher in the majors next year, especially with the crunch this offseason. Plus they have a younger version of him in Nathan Hickey, another guy whose bat looks like it will play in the majors but who can't really catch.
I am unhealthily excited about this kid.TEEL walked to load the bases (3-3 with a double).
This was a big homer!

Score on the catcher throwing error: passed the 1B then ball rattled around in the RF corner forever. Pinch runner has some wheels.
Troye looked shaky and was lucky to get out of the inning.
