Better late than never as LHP Michael Gunn, Boston's 16th rounder out of Arkansas, is assigned to GCL today and makes his pro debut with a perfect inning (groundout, 2 OF flyouts). He's one of five Sox pitchers who were pretty much lights out in a 2-1 over the Rays.
 
Michael Chavis gave his mates all the runs they'd need with a 2-run single in the b-1st, scoring Ben Moore & Rafael Devers.

Chavis is really starting to heat up.  Month of August he's hitting .385/.455/.538 - very encouraging after a brutal first ~10 games of his career.
 
Conversely, August has been cruel to the Devers Express - .167/.200/.333 in 47 ABs.
