So, since last game's struggles confirmed that Houck won't be ready to pitch a meaningful game again, this game shows without a doubt that he is ready to slot in as a 1A SP, right? Right?

Well, he only pitched 3 innings.

But it was clearly an elite offense he shut down as they immediately scored 3 runs off Brendan Nail in the 4th.

Worcester lost the 7 inning game 1 7-1.

Mosqueda pitched 2 scoreless innings, but then they left him out for a 3rd inning & it turned into a walkfest. Andrés Núñez did not help.

Ryan Fitzgerald was 2-3 with a triple.

Wilyer Abreu was 2-3 without a triple.

Dalbec was 1-2 with a homer, a walk & a steal.

C Note was 0-4, but 0 strikeouts?

Izzy just got the longevity- like 1500 ABs of Manny Ramirez production in AAA without ever being replacement level in the majors.

Also he gets some extra black ink for kicking that guys head off.

CJ Liu didn't make it out of the 5th.

4.2 innings, 4 runs, 7 hits, 2 walks, 7 strikeouts. 96 pitches, 59 strikes, ERA up to 5.23.

Delinger came in & got the last out of the 5th to maintain the lead.

YORDANNY struck out the side in the 2nd after a lead off double.

Turns out the 1 hit was in the 2nd inning, not the 1st. My bad.
