I was going to go with Deadlines & Landmines, but that seemed overly dramatic. & then I thought Deadlines & Pop Times, but I'm not researching those right now.

So I'll just go with undefineds because every Red Sox starter is TBD today.

Obed Balderas pitched 4 innings allowing 1 run, 5 hits, 0 walks, 2 strikeouts. 2.05 ERA on the season.

Tucker is out of the game. He was 0-3 with a throwing error & an outfield assist in his 1st game.

Christian Koss is done for the day at 1-3. .385 avg, .891 OPS. Probably time to send him back to Worcester.

Some pretty good relief work from Stijn Van Der Schaaf. He walked a guy & hit a guy in his 1st inning, allowed a run, but overall 3 hitless innings of relief with just those 2 baserunners & 3 strikeouts.

The FCL Sox lost 10-5, though.

Marvin Alcantara was 2-2 with 2 walks.

JOHANFRAN was 1-3 with a walk.

Claudio Simon, who seems to have just been demoted from Salem, had the team's only xbh, a pinch-hit double in his only at bat.

I think that might have more to do with playing time with Anthony/Castro/Lopez/Gonzalez in Greenville outfield.

But he definitely doesn't seem like a priority.

I don't have #content to contribute but just wanted to add a huge thank you to @JM3 for doing these every day. I absolutely read through them and they're pretty much the highlight of the baseball-focused part of the forum right now, so thanks for providing such rich content. I've definitely learned a lot more about our own system (and it's helped spur me to watch a few more minor league games when I have the time).

I'm glad you enjoy them & would enjoy anything you or anyone else might want to add that they come across or watch.

We just traded away Bradley Blalock, which made me a bit disappointed, which means I've gotten way too attached to these prospects doing this lol

Sale was down to 92-94 to start the 3rd inning & was removed during the 1st batter 5 pitches in on a 2-2 count...

Yes. Just seems weird to do it in the middle of the 1st batter of an inning. Considering Sale's history, I might have been a little more worried than usual, especially with the velocity drop.
