I think I've started 3 gamethreads and haven't won one yet so I'm due.
Sox at .500 on the current road trip... take at least 2/3 and it's successful. Sweeps are better.

Dalbec is back
Bobby Dalbec back in the majors. Pablo Reyes to the 10-day IL with abdominal soreness.
* INF Bobby Dalbec recalled * LHP Chris Murphy recalled * INF Pablo Reyes on 10-day IL * LHP Brandon Walter optioned * RHP Tayler Scott optioned
The Red Sox announced that they have acquired right-hander Tayler Scott from the Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations. Scott had been designated for assignment by the Dodgers on the weekend. To make room on the 40-man roster for Scott, the Red Sox transferred righty John Schreiber to the 60-day injured list.

Scott, 31, was signed by the Dodgers to a minor league deal in the offseason. He’s posted strong results in Triple-A this year, with a 1.37 ERA in 19 2/3 frames. His 12.5% walk rate is definitely on the high side but he’s paired that with a 31.3% strikeout rate. He was able to get added to the club’s 40-man roster but struggled in six big league innings, allowing six earned runs in that time. He was designated for assignment when the club added Bryan Hudson to the roster

A 6 nothing shutout. Baseball is weird.
We were on a streak where everyone cheered,
where men got on base and bases were cleared.
Our offense was awesome. They had endeared
themselves to fans because they’d engineered
a brand of baseball that other teams feared.
Then, out of nowhere, it all disappeared,
changing our outlook from Lasso to Beard.
Now we get Chicago, a second-tiered
team in a series that we have dog-eared
as a winnable one. Hope the team’s geared
up so a new winning streak is premiered.
and we are the Sox who have persevered.

I am happy to see Chris Murphy again. With Schreiber gone for so long, it's urgent to get some good pitchers for the bull-pen.
Bello starts are usually fun to watch.
I guess Dalbec is going to pinch-hit or something like that?
Good to see Hernandez back in CF.
Geaux, RED Sox!

The offense hopefully will have reappeared

The White Sox unis are pretty nice, but I don't know if I'd want to wear that much black in the summer too often.

When this team consistently puts up quality at-bats, they are good.
They just don't do it consistently enough.
