Some good (but short) starts happening today (actually 2 days ago but I never got around to posting this & now it's in my drafts):

Juan Valera (FCL) - 4 IP, 1 ER, 3 hits, 1 bb, 2 k

Jojo Ingrassia (A) - 4 IP, 1 run, 0 ER, 1 hit, 2 bb, 1 hbp, 6 k

Yordanny Monegro (A+) - 4 IP, 1 run, 0 ER, 2 hits, 2 bb, 4 k

FCL Sox lost 1-0 in 7 innings. After Valera they got 1 scoreless from Colmenares & 2 scoreless from Soriano.

Musett & Sierra were 2-3.

After Jojo, Conor Steinbaugh pitched 3 scoreless, hitless innings with a a walk & 2 strikeouts & CJ Weins pitched 2 scoreless innings with a hit, a walk & 2 strikeouts.

Salem won 7-1.

Jason Alexander had a solid start for Worcester: 5 IP, 2 ER, 3 hits, 1 bb, 2 hbp 2 k.

Bailey Horn allowed a run in 2 innings & Luis Guerrero pitched a scoreless 8th with a walk & a strikeout.

Worcester was down 3-2 headed to the 9th & Ryan Zeferjahn allowed 4 runs on 3 hits & 2 walks.

Worcester scored 4 in the bottom of the 9th, but it wasn't enough & they lost 7-6.
