Jeison Payano got the start for DSL Red.

The 6' RHP who signed for $10k in January is a bit older & turns 19 in November. That, combined with the low strikeout rate, is why this isn't as exciting as it would otherwise be, but after 4 scoreless innings today & 3 in his 1st appearance:

Webb allowed 2 runs in 2 innings, 1 earned.

Wikelman did come in next... but like Fitts only pitched 2 innings & also threw exactly 55 pitches. He allowed 3 hits, but no runs, no walks & 5 strikeouts.

Brendan Cellucci came in next.

Landry came back out for the 9th & walked a couple guys. Cade Feeney came in with 2 outs & picked up a strikeout to end the game & preserve Greenville's 8-4 victory.

& he did it!

Despite making a throwing error for his 4th error of the season (pretty impressive got like 36 innings of pitching), Francis pitcheda scoreless 9th for the save.

A line drive found the CF, McElveny threw the guy out trying to steal 2nd, & a hitter chased ball 4 on a 3-1 pitch to end the game.

Campbell struck out 2 hitters & allowed hits to the other 2 he faced.

Lucas Luetge got the last out of the 6th & was also scoreless in the 7th & 8th.

Ryan Zeferjahn pitched a scoreless 9th with a hit & Worcester won 4-2 on the back of walks & Niko doubles.
