Nobody Cares
The irrepressible Alex Verdugo ended yesterday's game with a thunderbolt, and today we honor Ontario's favorite son... the legendary Gordon Lightfoot. One can't begin to underestimate (thanks mauidano) how beloved Mr. Lightfoot is in his home province. We began yesterday's win with another of Canada's favorite sons, the great Neil Young. Today belongs to Gordon, and the resurgent Tanner Houck. Yusei Kikuchi can be rattled. If you could read my mind, you'd see another Sox win in our near future.

There is an ad running lately for Canadian liquor that lists everything we owe to Canada. It's a long list, including football. Perhaps I should copy it and add it to the Things You Only Learned Recently thread in P&G.
Anyway, I don't feel all THAT grateful, so Geaux, Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game 31
Another tough night inside The Garden,
I was cussing and cursing James Harden.
Depressed the Bruins and Celtics fell short -
first on the home ice then on the home court.
Magically, just as the Celts’ fate was sealed,
the Sox stepped up to protect the home field.
Duran and Valdez both smacked a homerun,
the Jays tied it late, but the game was won
when Dugie displayed his “Papi-like” touch
with a solo shot. The kid has been clutch.
I laughed as he dropped another F-bomb
and the fun walk-off win helped restore calm.
Bonus! The Yankees dropped to the cellar.
Hope tonight’s game is equally stellar.

- Placed INF/OF Romy Gonzalez on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to May 1) with right shoulder inflammation;

Lineup for tonight is out. I think I'd rather have Kiki at 2B and Arroyo at SS at this point.....

Hopefully Valdez has learned how to make a tag at second today. But he’s on the pine anyway

The Blue Jays will never drop those 70s style numbers on their uniforms, will they?

Honestly I think Houck has rotation future but Whitlock needs to go back to the pen
