Yonfi allowed a run in 2 innings & the FCL Sox won 7-1.

Arias was 1-1 with a double, 3 walks & 2 steals (& a cs).

Yoely was 1-3 with a double & a hbp.

Sierra was 2-3 with a sac fly.

Musett was 1-3 with a walk.

Linarez & Ayubi were 1-4.

Asencio, GRod & Jimenez were 0-3 with a walk.

& the FCL Sox had 7 runs, on 7 hits & 7 walks in a 7 inning game. It's slots o'clock somewhere.

In 8 innings, Romano has allowed 2 runs on 5 hits & 1 walk, striking out 1.

Opponents are BABIPing .154 against him & despite his 2.25 ERA, he has a 5.36 xFIP.

Felix Cepeda pitched a 1-2-3 9th with 2 strikeouts for the save.

Good good. I definitely think it's about time. & they can slot CJ Liu into his spot in the rotation if they don't think anyone from Greenville is ready.

Roman was 1-2 with 2 walks.

TMac was 2-3 with a double & a steal (4).

Sikes was 1-4 with a double & a steal (7).

Mayer, Lugo & Binelas were 1-4.

Bryan Mata did get the start for Greenville. Didn't go great - 2 IP, 2 ER, 4 hits, 1 bb, 0 k.

Cooper Adams was next - 2.1 IP, 4 runs, 3 ER, 5 hits, 3 bb, 2 k.

The pitching got better after that.

Nathan Landry - 2.2 IP, 0 runs, 1 hit, 1 bb, 1 k.

Isaac Stebens - 2 IP, 0 runs, 0 hits, 0 bb, 1 k.

Greenville lost 6-3.

Matt Duffy got the start for Salem & cruised through 2 innings, & then stopped cruising. He ended up allowing 4 runs (3 ER) in 3.2 innings, 6 hits, 1 bb, 1 k.

I'm not overly optimistic about Duffy so far. His 3.68 ERA is ~fine, but I feel like as a 22 y/o he should be striking out more hitters in A-Ball (7.7 k/9).

Danny Kirwin came in next & had his 1st rough outting, allowing 3 runs in 2 innings. Didn't seem to have his control. 22 strikes in 44 pitches, 3 bb, only 1 hit.

Francis Hernandez pitched the last 2.1 innings scoreless on 2 hits, a walk & a strikeout.

Salem lost 7-5.

Bleis was 1-5 with a double.

Andy Lugo was 1-3 with a double & a walk.
