There has to be a more artful way to phrase that title. Oh well. Salem played in the morning yesterday, now we have Portland & Worcester.

Whitlock threw a 1-2-3 1st with a strikeout of Everson Pereira, a weak groundout, & a flyout.

Sinker was around 94 with a high of 94.8.

Clayton Beeter, on the other hand, has 4 walks & has thrown 49 pitches through 2 innings. Still 0-0, though.

He did allow a double in the 3rd. After another 13 pitch inning he's at 32 through 3 scoreless innings.

Guerrero was done after that 19 pitch, 8 strike inning.

Ryan Zeferjahn had a similarly eventful inning. Walked 3 & threw 11 strikes in 26 pitches.

Ha - I’m a dummy. I just responded in yesterday’s thread about Romero being almost exclusively at second base since being drafted.

5 mins later, check this and he’s starting at short for his first game of full season ball this year.

2 IP, 0 hits, 1 bb, 3 k. Will be interesting to see if they try to push him to 4 or 5 innings. He's already thrown 33 pitches through 2, so looks like he's on pace for 4.
