this is prom night baiting and I won’t stand for itTease or whimper?
Some of us were extremely lonely in high school and ‘bating was all we had.this is prom night baiting and I won’t stand for it
With a golf shoe. Thus concludes a 3-hour kick to the crotch.
Bruinsesque loss. They had this game won TWICE. Most painful loss of the year so far.
Kimbrel, 9/28/2016 and 7/152016 let up 4 earned runs without retiring a batter. One of them must have, but I don't remember any of the Sox elite closers since '04 having such a disastrous attempt at a close:
0.0 IP 3H 3R 3ER 1BB 0K 1HR BS L.
Foulke, Paps, Koji, Kimbrel. OK, maybe Kimbrel but probably the offense bailed him out or he had a big enough lead to survive. Hope Jansen is OK.
Knew I'd get an answer here and pretty sure it would be Kimbrel. Thx man.Kimbrel, 9/28/2016 and 7/152016 let up 4 earned runs without retiring a batter.
Lots of others have done it, but you limited it to elite closers, so that's pretty much it.
Yeah, Foulke's high 80s fastball thrown to almost any hitter always had me holding my breath. Must have had a high spin rate or something. How Foulke was a dominant closer for a stretch is oft times still a mystery to me but I loved him in ‘04 maybe as much as Koji in ‘13
I doubt he could've been successful in modern MLB with video and data. His fastball only worked because it looked identical to his changeup which was a nasty pitch.Yeah, Foulke's high 80s fastball thrown to almost any hitter always had me holding my breath. Koji did it with his 80-someting fastball and splitter.I doubt he could've been successful in modern MLB with video and data. His fastball only worked because it looked identical to his changeup which was a nasty pitch.
