Fitts making his 2nd start of the season. It's ~warm in Syracuse today (high 60s), but looks like it might rain starting around 7.

Juan Daniel Encarnacion lost his roll in the Greenville rotation toward the end of last year to Noah Song after scuffling down the stretch. Hopefully he's back on track.

Don't know who's starting for Portland or Salem today, but let's go with Dobbins & Wehunt as the funnest options.

Worcester lost 5-4.

Fitts pitched 5 innings & allowed 3 ER on 6 hits, 0 walks & 5 k's.

Jacques pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits & a walk, striking out 3.

Luis Guerrero got the loss, allowing 2 runs in 1.1 inning on a homer, a walk & an hbp, & struck out 2.

Salem won 8-4 in 10 innings...apparently they only had 9 innings worth of pitchers & not enough fielders? They moved JoJo Ingrassia from pitching to 1B & Albert Feliz from 1B to P.

I'm a bit perplexed. I guess it's the new roster limits? Ahhh, that was a GameDay mistake. Feliz did pitch, but Juan Montero came in & played 1st. They fixed it.

Wehunt ran into trouble & didn't make it out of the 3rd, 2.2 IP 2 ER, 3 hits, 4 bb, 3 k's.

Max Carlson came in & DOMINATED, though. 3.1 IP, 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 bb, 8 k's.

GameDay says Natty Cruz allowed an earned run in an inning... but that he did not allow any hits or walks, or hbp, or even throw a wp on either of his 2 strikeouts...

Ok... looks like he got a 1-2-3 7th, & then came back for the 8th & the 1st hitter reached on an error, & then he came out & JoJo Ingrassia allowed the inherited runner to score. I'm going to go ahead & overrule this & call that run UNEARNED.

Ingrassia pitched 2 innings & allowed 1 run on 2 hits, striking out 5.

& then, of course, Albert Feliz, the 1B, came in & worked around a walk to pitch a scoreless 10th.

JDE got hit up for 4 in the 4th & finished with 3.2 IP, 5 ER, 7 hits (2 HR), 0 bb & 6 k's.

Gabe Jackson came in & pitched 4 innings of relief, allowing 2 ER on 5 hits, 0 bb & 5 k's.

Caleb Bolden pitched the last 1.1 innings & got the win, 1 bb & 3 k's.

Overall, Greenville pitchers had a 14 to 1 k/bb ratio... but still allowed 7 runs.

BGone was 2-4 with a homer, a double & 3 rbi.

Caden Rose was 2-5 with a homer & the gwh.

Ahbram Liendo was 2-5 with 2 steals.

Miguel Ugueto was 2-4 with 1 steal.

KCamp was 1-4 with a double, a walk, & the gwr.

Ronald Rosario was 1-5, lowering his BA to
.409.

Allan Castro was 0-3 with 2 walks... he now has an .071 BA...& a .409 OBP. He is 1-14 with 8 walks.

I was kind of surprised this thread only had 19 posts, but I think I like this better than the 100+ Live Blogging ones.

Anyone have thoughts? Preferences? Things they want to see added?

I'm a family law attorney. The Richard never fitts anymore by the time I get involved.

& I didn't realize OJ died until after reading your post & looking it up lol
