Man, Verdugo really giving Scott a hand there. Why make him work when you can swing at ball 3 when you're down 3 runs
He is not good against lefties, NY is giving him every chance early but he is not good against them.

I didn't see it but I assumed he didn't go until it was clear Volpe was going to first.
Need to see another replay, but from what I recall, even if that's a clean throw and he was out at first, Rizzo had no time to go home. Meaning Anderson didn't score on Volpe's error, he just straight up scored from 2nd on a grounder to short.

I think that means that Anderson MUST have committed to home before Volpe committed to 1st.

Would've been the first Yankees grand slam since at least 1911 to be: Walkoff, down three runs, and with two outs. 15 such slams exist in this timeframe, including one given up by the Yankees in 1988 to Alan Trammell.

Judge knew immediately he didn't get all of it right away, got a quite a bit under that with not a great looking swing. No shock the crowd way, way overreacted though.
