I think we can all agree that these two teams appear to be on a collision course to meet in the Finals. But seriously, if the Broncos can win the SuperBowl, why can't the Bruins win the Cup? Maybe, just maybe 2016 is the year of mediocre champions. Beats resigning myself to thinking that this team will either not make the playoffs or get bounced out in the first round...

As I type this -- less than 22 hours before gametime tomorrow -- the Blackhawks are playing an almost playoff-like intensity game against Detroit. Hopefully, the they'll show up hung over tomorrow night.
