I can't ever remember actually beating the Wild. They seem to be one of those teams that, for whatever reason, gives the Bruins fits.

That changes tonight. #9 on the way.

Boychuk is out tonight. Julien said Boychuk is too sore to play and is day-to-day. He'll the other 7 D will dress for warmups and Julien will make his decision on who plays after.

Would be surprised to see Potter play but who knows at this point.

All this depth is definitely a good thing.

For what it's worth, the Bruins have never beaten the Wild at home.

I bet all those games were 1-0 or 2-1 snoozers against the Lemaire trap. Those Wild teams were absolutely brutal to watch.

Yeah but if they had Vanek they could just skate 13 forwards and worry about defense later. Hell, make it 15 forwards and roll 5 lines, see how the league deals with that.

Looks like Rask is starting tonight.

Taking my son to his first Bruins game tomorrow at NJ. His favorite player is Rask. Any chance he plays back to back days? I know he has before, and Johnson did just start last game....holding out hope.

The B's next 4 are:
3/17: vs Min
3/18: @NJ
3/21: @COL
3/22: @PHX

They have 2 days off before and after this stretch (and, in the middle)  The last stretch of 3 was similar, with 2 days off, followed by 2 on, a day off, then another game.  In that case, Tuukka was going to get 2 games of those 3, and going back-to-back let him then get 4 days of rest before the next game.
In this case, I want Tuukka going against the 2 best teams in that group, which are Minnesota (1st in WWC) and Colorado(2nd in Central).  That leaves NJ (5th in EWC) and Phoenix(3rd in WWC) for Johnson.

The thing is that Tuukka WILL be starting the next 2 games after this stretch, on the 24th(vs MON) and 27th (vs CHI).

So that's two awful plays by Bartkowski giving up center ice at his own blue line. He might be next up on the healthy scratch carousel.

Is Krug the healthy scratch tonight?
