Dont forget the Greek were European Champions once in 2004. The Danes winning in 92 with the infamous vacation team. More suprises there than the world cup i reckon.

Easier for upsets to happen in a 16 team and an 8 team format. England are better than 2004 Greece and 1992 Denmark though.

One thing about England today, they're not moving it sideways sideways. Much more progressive according to my eyes. Seem to have the running of the midfield too.

I’ve been trying to forget that Greece performance for 20 years because it was so defensive. They scored 7 goals and conceded only 4. As of right now, England have 6 goals for and 4 against having played 45 minutes less than that Greek team, so there’s that.

I like Kyle Walker, but the offense seems to be stalling whenever he gets the ball on the wing near the box.

*Dutch complete one progressive pass*
Darke: THIS GAME IS ON A KNIFES EDGE NOW
*Dutch pass back and hold possession for 2 minutes*

Again, super casual fan here, but even this second half is better than watching France whose only idea against Spain seemed to be Kounde crossing it in over and over and over.

Saka and Mainoo were so involved in the first half. Almost invisible so far in the second.
