I am wondering how much McCarthy top-6 hype was the Giants or whoever trying to manifest a trade back or just pushing more non-QBs further down the board.

Here
Didn't he shoot somebody at the car wash?
Well...a man was shot 3 times (he didn't die), they found the gun that was at the car wash, the ballistics of six casings found at the shooting matched his gun, but...he wasn't charged, so...nothing to see here.

Whatever people think of BB’s talent evaluation skills at this point, he is far from alone in considering Maye a talented, but raw, prospect/project. I think they had to take a shot with either him or Daniels, but having some reservations about him is not an outlier opinion.
Bill was extremely critical of all three QB's, pointing out specific weaknesses in each of them, while acknowledging their strengths and potential as well. I don't get people who are saying he shit on the # 3 pick, seems to me he was pretty fair in his assessment from everything else I know about Maye.

If this thread is going to be so serious I’m going to go to the Cocoon senior Center no spoilers thread. Please don’t make me do that.

Was there a white suit in the car wash?

If the posting in here doesn’t approve, I’m going to the “no spoiler” thread. Don’t make me do it. Be better folks.

I’m not a NFL fan and don’t watch games really so I dont give a shit. But I do watch a toooon of CFB. Maye’s footwork hadn’t improved since he was a HS senior.
I like CFB, but I know a ton of people in a similar boat and I’ll never understand the preference for a level of football (however entertaining) that has measurably inferior talent. Grew up in Mississippi and that was as good as you could get? Sure, I get that. Live in Atlanta, went to Emory, but still prefer the Dawgs to the Falcons? That makes no sense to me.

2 years ago you mean man. Choke to death on a twizzler!
Some day the Jets will win a SB and yes I’ll be disappointed but then I’ll stop and think “well I’m happy for luckiestman at least.”

Not SeanBerry though, wherever he is.

Jesus Christ guys.
Valid. I got really upset because I have people in my household that have had the word thug thrown ant them over things like winning a youth soccer game and went overboard there. I should’ve thought first. Thank you for calling it out.

He stands out in contrast to the runaway hype trains that chug during these telecasts for top picks, we are conditioned to expect it.
