Between Lott as an incoming freshman and Jarand Bradley from the transfer portal they have a couple of BIG WR targets coming in. Lott sounds like a project though. 6'6" 200lbs and apparently a good athlete but he's only played 1 year of football because he was focused on basketball so it may take some time. Bradley is listed at 6'5" 220. He had 10 TDs in 2 seasons at Texas Tech, so hopefully he will contribute right away. If nothing else the Hail Mary's should be interesting.BC gets commit from Charlie Comella from Wellesley and Xaverian, son of Stanford star and NFL fullback Greg, and one of the heirs to pizza/salad/restaurant empire.
Also commit from Cedric Lott Jr, a WR but a 3 sports star (400m-track and basketball) from Mesquite TX
Oh, thats interesting. He had previously committed to MSU. UCLA is a better choice; MSU was an even worse loss for Hafley as theyre a pretty poor program as well.Because the program sucks and HH had other options? He chose UCLA. I'm the biggest BC fan there is, but if my kid was good enough to play D1 QB, I'd tell him to go to UCLA over BC.
https://footballscoop.com/news/maryland-reportedly-adding-an-acc-coordinator-to-staff247 shares that Boston College's Aazaar Abdul-Rahim is expected to join the Terps staff.
The report adds that Abdul-Rahim's title will be associate head coach for defense and co-defensive coordinator.
He spent the last four seasons at BC, with this past fall marking his first season with the co-defensive coordinator title.
Better be ready to spend some money then for the HC, staff, strength guy, and in NIL.Thank you, Green Bay!
Hopefully the replacement ends up being better. And timing isn't great.
Steve?James has to at least make a phone call to Belichick, doesn’t he?
Bill could help his kid out and be the DC since he's got nothing else to doSteve?
Not sure how reliable the source is, but Golden is on this list:I always think Al Golden would be a good choice for one of these northeast school.
As a Navy fan, please hire Jeff Monken. Not sure how reliable the source is, but Golden is on this list:
With Duquesne and WKU on the schedule, I’m confident they can go 7-5I look forward to following the national search for the next guy to lead the team to 6-6.
They lost to Northern Illinois and squeaked by Cross, Virginia, and Army last year. Schedule was pretty cake too. Good to aim high though. With Duquesne and WKU on the schedule, I’m confident they can go 7-5
I think it’s safe to say Al Golden will never work for Blake James again, due to their past litigation.I always think Al Golden would be a good choice for one of these northeast schools.
LOL I did not know about that. Maybe I'm qualified to be a 247Sports industry source!?I think it’s safe to say Al Golden will never work for Blake James again, due to their past litigation.

I think it’s illustrative to look back at the coaches suggested for the Syracuse job and whom they actually hired. Lazy writers will see “small private northeast school” and just throw names against the wall.LOL I did not know about that. Maybe I'm qualified to be a 247Sports industry source!?
Interesting. I have heard the opposite and that he is interested but being very careful.I was told on good authority that BC contacted Bob Chesney and gauged his interest but Chesney declined to pursue the job. His buyout is only $1.75 million.
He is from Boston and his son plays at Tufts. He also has a child with special needs and has expressed his strong opinion of the Boston hospitals. He will also get paid. You can say a lot of things about the BC job but they have paid market for coaches and keep in mind there’s no buy out here. Not sure why BOB is interested but given how things are going... BC is going to need a Home Run hire to even be in the consideration to get in the Super League. This is the time to splurge if they care at all.
Lion alum here...15-9, with 7-5 and 8-4 records in 2011 and 2012, with teams that had been kneecapped due to sanctions and, as @snowmanny just pointed out, COY in 2012. So, in short, yes, he did. Probably the biggest disappointment for PSU fans was that he didnt stick around to tutor Christian Hackenberg. Who knows how much better Hack' development would have been under BOB? But thats not on BOB.He did a decent job at Penn State given the restrictions put on the program in the wake of "Sandusky". At least I always thought he did. Hopefully, some Penn State fan or fans will chime in.
I look forward to following the national search for the next guy to lead the team to 6-6.
These made me laugh. Through my tears.Poor bastard found one job worse than offensive coordinator of the 2023 Pats, but it's nice that he's staying around.
