This game feels like its going to be a one or two possessions all the way through. Game sevens rule, especially if it involves teams you don't root for regularly.

Agree. I like Sacto’s chances based on how Klay is playing. But just because he has started cold doesn’t mean he can’t go like 4-6 from 3 in the 2nd half or whatever

I just hope for the sake of Kings fans that the scales don’t get tipped in the second half. This is fun basketball right now.

Goodness I hope the Celtics play with this pace. Especially if a hobbled Embiid is playing.

2 free throws on any defensive or loose ball foul.
I think @dhellers was saying the average number of non-shooting fouls converted to award FTs, in whatever portion of the quarter, above the average for when a team reaches that threshold, is probably pretty low. Most defensive fouls are shooting fouls as it is, and offensive fouls don't award FTs even if you're in the bonus.

Steph Curry is keeping the Warriors in this game. The Warriors' 2nd and 3rd leading scorers, Klay and Poole, are a combined 3/16 for 12 points. Somebody else is going to have to get going offensively if the Warriors are going to win.

Exactly. Must be some stats on this.

The point is that announcers always make a big deal out of it.... but if expected value is 2 points?

The refs have come out calling this third quarter very tight both ways. This has slowed the pace down, which favors the Warriors as it gives them more rest.

DARKO thinks Steph and Klay have both gracefully avoided father time (I'd argue even more impressive for Klay given the injuries).

The problem for Klay is that he was never THAT good, so he decline plateau is now not particularly good.

80% of peak Steph is still crazy good.

GS coming hard at the boards at both ends; Kings need to match that....plus, of course, hit some shots.
