I definitely don't want the Sox to pay big $'s to get a pitcher like Nola. People have been salivating over him in this thread because of a couple great playoff starts, but his velocity is down, and he gives up a lot of homers. His typical regular season start would be: look great for 3-4 innings, then give up a walk, a hit, a dinger, and another dinger, and end up losing by like 5-3. And that's how he ended up with a great 1.15 whip, but a thoroughly meh 4.50 era.
