If Garcia just took his base without losing his mind I'm confident the Rangers win.
The annoying thing is I don’t think Houston was even trying to mess with the Rangers heads or fire themselves up.. They were gonna lose the game anyway and just wanted to hit Garcia for good measure.
The whole thing made Texas lose their composure though.

I guess. They needed one to tie and I’d rather have 2 cracks at that with a runner at 3rd. YMMV as they say.
That's such a quaint expression now that mlb players' feet never touch the ground between parks.
You can argue that whole Garcia blow-up into weird ejection hurt the Rangers, LeClerc may have gotten cold. (He's also mediocre throughout his career, so...)
ARod said the Altuve HR was on LeClerc's 20th changeup all year. Only 20. So the Rangers may have gotten too cute on that pitch call.
I am so disappointed. I am so tired of the Astros. Was happy for Dusty last year but now just want the Astros to go away. Far away.
Maybe Leclerc was in his own head and worried that if he pitched inside it might lead to an ejection or something.
He almost hit Dubon in the face with the first pitch after Altuve's HR. I don't think he cared about pitching inside. He threw a meatball to one of the most dangerous playoff hitters ever at the worst moment to do it. He sucks.
I watched the end of the 1982 ALCS this morning. That 1982 Angels team was like a 1970s All-Star team
No. 19 was the inexplicable one to me--the 3-2 pitch to Singleton. Make him earn it, don't walk him ahead of Altuve.
Even besides that, why you throwing a pitch you barely threw in the biggest moment of your season? It's no wonder he couldn't execute either pitch.
