Kornet cementing a fourth-string center role ... yuk, he doesn't look good. Made a lazy swipe at the ball on defense, giving up a dunk; that's not what you want your big doing when the guy is three feet from the basket.

That quarter was fine, especially for the first of the preseason. 28% FG, 25% from 3, but they were almost all good looks and you can see they are still trying to figure out how to play with all that talent on the floor at once

Love that Tatum post-up. That needs to be a central part of his offensive game.

Not that the Sixers were hard to dislike before, but the addition of Oubre makes them that much more loathsome.

Really nice decision by Pritchard on that break. The timing of the pass was perfect and it had to be.

Second time JT lost the ball spinning into the help defender.

Sixers got up 8 more shots; Cs with 7 turnovers, only 5 for Sixers; Cs with 5 offensive rebounds, Sixers with 7.

It's preseason, obviously, but Joe says he wants to emphasize causing turnovers and winning the shot battle.

Yep. True shot attempts/FGAs are always the first thing I look at in the box score.

Sixers getting more than their share of the 50/50 balls.

Man, Celtics are really getting outhustled. I know it's just an exhibition game, but ...

I get the sense that these guys are just not very comfortable where they’re at on the floor.
Yeah, Jaylen bumped into Porzingis top of the key, and they looked like they were both trying to occupy the same spot and still figuring out where they need to be.

I wonder about Jaylen as the best-paid player in the NBA. His dribbling looks about as bad as last year. Maxey though, that I could see, ha.

25 minutes for the starters in the first half of a b2b in the preseason. Joe is still Joe I guess.
