ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME WITH THAT CALL. We didn't come here to watch the refs. She was standing still to set that screen

SHE DIDN'T DO A FUCKING THING
There was a bit of an elbow, but that's just not a moving screen, from everything Scalabrine has ever told me. She was square to the defender, didn't move her feet, the lean was slight, she was set early enough that the defender had a step to see her. All I can think they were seeing was the elbow a little outside her body.

The refs sucked the energy of that ending and robbed everyone in the process of a great end

The smaller person sold the contact and the ref fell for it. Inexcusable.

Glad Iowa won, but that was a lame final minute. Two turnovers, and a bailout call. Would’ve loved to see UConn get a shot or see Iowa get a stop.

Have no dog in this fight but that was a “get Caitlin Clark to the finals game” call.

I think South Carolina will destroy Iowa.

Wow. That was as bogus a call as I can recall in any Final Four game. Bag job to get Clark into final. Disgusting.

That was such a ridiculous call to steal a true ending
yeah, we were about to get a great UConn ATO play, probably an outside shot by Paige, to win or lose at the buzzer. Would've been a classic moment.

Sometimes you've got to make the foul call, or the rules have no meaning. This was... not one of those times.

My wife knew one of the refs on the floor by name being a season ticket holder to the Sun of the WNBA, which is never a good sign for the quality of the ref.

Well I am clearly very biased here but that offensive foul call at the end was just… beyond comprehension. But then UConn did such a crap job boxing out on the missed free throw. That was also terrible.

SC is gonna roll Iowa unless Clark scores 40+.

Frustrating loss but so proud of the UConn women.

They really defended their asses off tonight. Just couldn't get a lot of good looks to fall.

But I'm never going to get over that call at the end.

Total fouls:
UConn 18
Iowa 9

Free throws:
UConn 4
Iowa 14

And the biggie at the end to take away a chance for UConn to win it.

Paige missing the wide open three from the corner was a huge moment in the game. :-(
