Reggie was in a K hole there. DLo was clapping and talking crap to Alvarado - he most certainly wasn't de-escalating.
Zion and DLo are dueling here. This game feels like its going to be a battle until the end
Mike Gorman called games like there was a silent third person in the booth, letting the game breathe.. Reggie thinks he's the second and third person in the booth..and that third person also needs to constantly offer inane comments to make sure there's zero silences.
His vol is insane. He can make a great observation and then go down a rabbit hole on something so stupid and flog it to death, bury it, exhume it, revive it and then kill it again.

edit: HA.. didn't see your second post before mine... Hubie Brown = "painted area", "great percentage" etc. Guy quotes the stat sheet all game every broadcast..like listening to someone read the phone book.
If McCollum can't take some of the offensive load off of Zion, the Pelicans are gonna get rolled.

It feel like this statement has been true of almost all of his games for decades.
The whistle has been lopsided as hell. Zion should have had about 6 more free throws himself.
Lakers have been playing great since Rui returned but tonight they took their defense to another level during that 2Q. They showed us this during the IST. Do they play Denver with a win tonight? That is like a nightmare for the Nuggets.
NOLA just seems a creator short.

All I've seen out of him were poorly located or well-contested 3s, all of which bricked.
The Celtics have spoiled me, much like the Belichick Patriots of yore did. Subpar decision-making and ball-hogging is just totally, unwatchably annoying to me.
Aside from one that Zion should have gone to the line for there any foul on NO that shouldn’t have been called? Lakers are doing what they do when it matters in gaining angles and drawing contact for the foul.
LeBron threw his arms up into Zion on the last free throws he shot, and then that one to Reaves was really weak.
Lakers take 6 more FTAs/100 than their opponents. I don't think there's some conspiracy to make that happen. They also get ~6 fewer FGA/100 than their opponents, partly because of the aforementioned free throws, but also because they are the worst offensive rebounding team in the NBA.
The Reaves one was borderline, but the LeBron call was easy. Don't reach across a guys body when he's driving, because any smart player will just raise their arms for the obvious foul.
I don’t recall the Reaves but Zion has his arm inside of LeBron throughout the penetration so he went up through it. That’s a foul every time.
Pelicans are such a dumb team. Wasting a D- game by AD. Can't wait for Lakers to be blown out by Denver.
