2022 World Series: What's your prediction?

If I had to guess, I'd say Astros in 6. The Phillies are definitely determined, but the Astros are a much stronger team. Anything can happen, though

Phillies in 7, because that's what I want to happen. Besides, the Astros have folded to two middling NL East teams recently. Why not three?

I went Astros in 6. I think their pitching is just too good from top to bottom for Philly to be able to overcome. Hoping for either team in 7, though.

Heart says Phillies in 6, everything just seems to be breaking their way right now. But you could easily say the same thing about the Astros, and the superiority of the AL (as well as the Astros' strong play end to end this season) means they'll likely take it in 5.

Both the Yankees and Seattle had some very winnable games that were swiped from them. I desperately hope that the Phillies are watching the Yankees games to see exactly how NOT to approach Astros pitching. Gut tells me Astros, heart tells me Phillies.

I don't think Altuve will be held down a third series in a row and the Phils will be smothered by Astros pitching. But I also want Houston to win, as a good friend of mine is a fan. Plus wife (Mariners fan) and I were at every pitch of the 18-inning game against the Astros, and she wants her team to have lost to the champs.

Astros in 5, although I might be giving the Phillies too much credit. Hopefully, the Phillies rise to the occasion in the first game or two, otherwise I think baseball excitement is over for the year.

Took Phillies in 7, but other than that exact same reasoning. I really just hope it gets back to Houston for games six and or seven.
