This is ridiculous officiating again. Embiid has 10 ft this fucking quarter.
Usually a contender acquires a guy to matchup with someone like Embiid in the playoffs. As long as the Heat have guys like Markieff Morris’ corpse and PJ Tucker trying to stop him he’s going to live at the line against these mismatches.

They were calling some ticky tack shit, though. Over the limit with 7:30 left in the quarter.

Delilah's ?
I will not supply a link but if you know James Harden's extracurricular interests (adult entertainment), this snippet should give you context:

Delilah's has been a landmark in Philadelphia for over a quarter century. Over that time Delilah's has established itself as the premiere entertainment destination for business travelers, celebrities, and uninhibited Philadelphian's alike.

This is the worst I've seen the Dubs look in quite a while. Poole pouting after yet another bad pass is a terrible sign.

Ja is an all world player, but Memphis is just a very different team defensively when he's not on the floor.

And well, defense matters. A lot.
Replacing Ja with Steven Adams and having Brooks back entirely changes how the Grizzlies play. JJJ is going to win DPOY at some point.

Adams has been useless on offense, but maybe his prescence tightens up Memphis D?
He was extremely effective on both ends during his 1Q rotation. Long term I don’t know how effective he’ll be but I know it will cause the Grizz to play differently than with Ja.

For sure. If he can do what TL did and learn to play without fouling, he'll be the most versatile defender in the league. Got a long way to go though...JJJ had the 2nd most PFs this year. He averaged 5.9/36 last year and got it down to 4.6/36 during the regular season, but it's ballooned to 6.6/36 in the playoffs. Gotta stay on the court.

The NBA clearly got word to the officials that they need to start calling some shooting fouls on the floor.

Another instance of Draymond berating the refs in a way no one else would get away with
He's just so over the top at almost all times. Which, whatever, but it's silly that he has his own rules.

This is one uglyyyyyyy game though. You can almost sense the GSW run, but it hasn't come yet.

Dillon Brooks channeling the worst aspects of (old) Marcus Smart on offense tonight.

good job there by Brooks -- takes the terrible 3 then is out of position on defense but jumps into the guy for the foul.

3-17. It's one thing when a good player has a brutal night, but this is a guy who 43% in the regular season (31% from 3) and is shooting under 35% in the playoffs. Just pure trash.
