He is a better shot-stopper than Steffen, and it isn't even close. Steffen is smoother on the ball, but is also prone to his every game hiccup as well.

That stutter step thing has to go, it should be required to make a continuous run up to the ball. It worked out fine here, but it is incredibly annoying.

Interesting to me on the penalty claim for the US is what is the official rule in a Var world in a situation where they haven’t completed the Var check and the team scores? Can you score a goal and then be given a penalty that was not given?

Berhalter has cultivated a GREAT culture and it gets stronger with every big win like this. He has his faults, but he’s doing a lot of stuff exactly right.
Yeah, you can argue about his tactics, but he definitely seems like he's managing the players well and has them on board.
