WFT is playing this smart. take as much time off as you can and you might be able to just throw it OOB on 4th.

He did miss what I think was the one most important kick he had in his college career, a 42-yarder to tie the game for Georgia against South Carolina in 2OT last year (and probably stay alive in the National Championship race). Has he had any "money" kicks this season for the Colts? I don't want to ding the guy - I like his character and his goggles and I'm rooting for him - but I think he still has a ways to go to prove himself.
He's the leading vote getter to represent the AFC in the Pro Bowl as the kicker; granted, that's probably a popularity contest more than anything else thanks to those goggles he wears.................but that said, he's done a lot better than the guy the Patriots drafted to be their new kicker.

The NFL gets a lot of things wrong, but I think they got the playoffs right; adding one more team and only giving out one bye. They should stop there; if they add another playoff team, what do they do then, eliminate the bye altogether?

Did everything break the Patriots way today?
Yes, but they're still in dire straits.

If we win out, Miami would have to lose one more time, Vegas would have to lose twice, and Ravens lose twice. Miami and Vegas face each other in week 16, but the Ravens have a cupcake schedule after tomorrow - Jags, Giants, Bengals.

It's going to end up being that 10-6 would have gotten us in, but we'll finish at 8-8, most likely, and we'll look back at games like Seattle, Denver, Buffalo - and also realize this team wasn't doing much anyways.

Think the Bills win this running away but we’ll see. Haven’t liked the Steelers play the past few weeks and they’ve had a real soft schedule.

Really wish there were fans there. They would be losing it.

Possibly. My solution would be to have the four division winners get byes, and the four Wild Cards would play each other. You'd still get 4 games on the first weekend of the playoffs. Top two seeds would play the Wild Card winners on the second weekend. Personally, I'd add a caveat that if a division winner is two games behind a Wild Card team, then that division winner wouldn't get a bye.

Looks like the cold rain is making the field and the ball slippery. Tonight could be a low-scoring affair.

6 possessions in less than 10 minutes. Don’t see that too much these days.

Also, I like Tirico, but no Al removes some of the big game feel.

Looked like Allen dropped the ball before any contact for the fumble/sack.

The Land of Fist Pumps
The Steelers look so much more relaxed playing with 1 loss instead of dealing with being the only undefeated team. Just shows how impressive it was for the 72 Dolphins to make it through their Murderer’s Row schedule unblemished.

Some arguably greater teams have folded under the pressure, not everyone can be Shula.

From the NFL rulebook:

If one of the fouls is of a nature that incurs a 15-yard penalty and the other foul of a double foul normally would result in a loss of 5 yards only (15 yards versus 5 yards), the major penalty yardage is to be assessed from the previous spot.
