Welp. I'm off to bed.

Will Harris should not make it out of Houston alive. Fuck him with the San Jacinto Monument.

Huge congrats to the Nationals. Team of destiny, indeed.

not sure why cole wasn't in for the 9th unless they wasted whatever bullets he had warming him up and then not using him earlier

Corbin coming in and shutting it down is huge. What a great performance from him tonight

The Nationals have done big damage from the 7th on because the Astros would trade their bullpen for just about any other teams' right now. They are a total dumpster fire.

The road team winning all 7 games in the World Series is the weirdest thing. Totally unprecedented. I'm not sure it's ever happened in the NHL or NBA, but this will definitely be a first in the MLB.

I believe there was a stat shown last game that it’s never happened in any of those sports.

"The Astros have not won a single game this season when trailing after eight innings. They are 0-55."
I have not changed my mind and gone to the store a single time this year after driving 8/9th of the way to work.

I have not eaten eggs for breakfast a single time this year after pouring milk into my cereal 8/9ths of the way to the top.

Spot gamethread poll: assuming the Nats hold up, who's your MVP? Kendrick, Strasburg, Rendon, someone else?
I got Stras. Without a second thought.

To expand: Two big wins, but his 8.1 last night allowed them to do anything they wanted with their pitching staff tonight, even if Scherzer wasn't effective. I think that is absolutely huge.
