If I were a Houston fan in the stands I would be fucking beside myself right now. Maybe approaching 2003 ALCS grade inconsolable.
The Nationals have done big damage from the 7th on because the Astros would trade their bullpen for just about any other teams' right now. They are a total dumpster fire.
The road team winning all 7 games in the World Series is the weirdest thing. Totally unprecedented. I'm not sure it's ever happened in the NHL or NBA, but this will definitely be a first in the MLB.
How do you know if Cole would have done well out of the pen? Has never done it.

I believe there was a stat shown last game that it’s never happened in any of those sports.

Rendon, but it’s close. Soto overall playoff MVP, an award they don’t give out but should.

To expand: Two big wins, but his 8.1 last night allowed them to do anything they wanted with their pitching staff tonight, even if Scherzer wasn't effective. I think that is absolutely huge.
Strasburg, Rendon, or Soto all would be good choices. But what Stras did last night gets it for him.
